SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will report into the Vice President of Global Compliance and is a critical component of the Compliance department, providing support and taking ownership on operational matters whilst supporting on strategic initiatives. The role requires exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment, and specializes in North American external workforce compliance. The Global Compliance Manager will help guide and support the business on compliance requirements that impact our client’s contingent workforce programs.
DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS (each duty and function listed indicates % of time to total 100%):
- Be a point of contact for and provide advisory support for day-to-day compliance related enquiries that surface, responding within any agreed timelines and SLA’s. 15%
- Provide subject matter expertise to existing teams and clients regarding applicable North American contingent workforce legislation. Examples of contingent legislation are rules regarding how temporary staffing workers are contracted or legislation regarding employment status or co-employment. 15%
- Own and manage any work and deliverables associated with California pay requirements and any other similar reporting projects. 25%
- Ensure AgileOne is remaining current on North American emerging workforce legislation, and as applicable, cascading this across the business. This will involve managing trackers, producing compliance alerts and other literature for internal and external consumption. 10%
- Where legislation has a significant impact, this role will be required to help support our business get ready for such changes, including presenting to and engaging relevant stakeholders. 10%
- Represent the department on any in-region client implementations, owning any associated deliverables. 10%
- Support the Compliance department with producing and maintaining training materials and SOP’s (standard operating procedures), updating and maintaining our SharePoint site, as well as preparing and maintaining compliance materials, such as QBR slides, Regulatory guides and any other materials.10%

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
The primary duties of this position are performance and execution of business operational requirements of the Company. This position’s primary duties include the exercise of discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters of significance.

- Experience in US / North American contingent workforce compliance (examples are employment status and employment tests, wage and hour law, FLSA classification, Pay Transparency and equal pay requirements) and/or a strong operational background in MSP/VMS programs.
- Familiarity in central and south American contingent workforce legislation preferrable but not essential for the right candidate.
- Excellent communicator with demonstratable experience of stakeholder management and acts in a consultative manner.
- Ability to thrive under pressure with the ability to manage multi projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Attention to detail is critical, along with the ability to read/review legislation picking out critical need to know requirements for business stakeholders.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills focused on explaining data.
