SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The SOW Practice Consultant provides service procurement / Statement of Work (SOW) functional expertise, performs client and prospect analysis, and deploys operational best practices to AGILEONE’s existing (and undergoing implementation) SOW managed service program (MSP) accounts. This role partners with our client services and implementation teams to ensure our SOW MSP service is delivered at the highest standards via the optimal use of program supporting Vendor Management System (VMS) technology and best practice processes.
DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS (for each duty and function listed indicate % of time to total 100%):
- Deploys tools, practices, VMS configurations, and metric analysis techniques to optimize SOW MSP account delivery (20%)
- Partners with local program teams to perform current state assessments, conduct ongoing maintenance reviews, and implement corrective actions (15%)
- Provides expertise through identification of the client’s business needs, vision, goals and overall strategic direction (10%)
- Maintains operational understanding of internal & third-party partner SOW VMS application capabilities and features; with proficiency to demo technology as required (10%)
- Assists with operational ramp up and process stabilization on new SOW MSP programs, translating requirements from implementation and solution design into new team protocols (15%)
- Collects and proliferates best practices from across program accounts; serves as subject matter expert in sales prospecting as required (10%)
- Collaborates with internal reporting teams and VMS first level support to build reporting analytics and investigate data capture discrepancies (10%)
- Stays abreast of industry/market knowledge and trends; effectively applies knowledge of the AgileOne MSP best in class solutions; client industry, and economic markets to the sales process (5%)
- Other duties and special projects as assigned (5%)
The primary duties of this position are performance and execution of business operational requirements of the Company. This position’s primary duties include the exercise of discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters of significance.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS (for each function listed, indicate % of time):
- Documents optimal VMS configuration and standard operating procedural guides (45%)
- Assists with peer training and deployment of optimal VMS configuration and standard operating procedural guides (45%)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Purchasing, Supply Chain, strongly preferred)
- Five (5) plus years of indirect / service procurement experience in an outsourced advisory role or internal sourcing function within a company
- Five (5) plus years’ experience in an operational process design and improvement capacity (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.) proficiency strongly preferred
- Experience with market leading contingent / service procurement VMS systems required
- Travel up to 20% required

LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION SKILLS REQUIRED (written & verbal):
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals. Ability to present information effectively and to respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
COMPUTER/SYSTEM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with market leading Vendor Management Systems and their associated SOW / Services Procurement processing capabilities
- Experience with (S2C, P2P) systems used to manage services spend (sourcing / bid, contracting, payables/deliverables management, etc.) strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of computers including Windows environments, email, and the internet. Proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project and Visio. Ability to quickly learn AgileOne Vendor Management Systems technology.
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Process analysis and improvement mindset with emphasis on corporate procurement transacting
- High proficiency and proven results with macro data analysis, root cause identification, and implementing corrective changes
- Ability to lead collaborative workshop sessions, gain group consensus, and achieve actionable outputs
- Understanding of the external marketplace, industry directions, standards development, industry trends, key vendors, and key products
- Ability to perform accurately in a detailed environment while being able to effectively prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously
- Ability to self-manage workload, set target dates, meet deadlines, follow processes, and develop and implement project road maps to achieve optimum results
- Excellent oral/written communications and organizational skills
- Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Marketing leading Vendor Management System configuration certification / trainings strongly preferred.
- Process improvement / quality program certifications a plus (i.e., Six Sigma, Lean, etc.)
