SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Supplier Engagement Manager is responsible for the implementation of the AgileOne Supplier Partnership process and driving its goals and objectives throughout the entire organization by ensuring the seamless, efficient and on-time engagement of Client Suppliers. The SEM also must develop and support the Supplier quality process Minority Supplier Development program. The SEM interfaces directly with AgileOne Clients, Suppliers and AgileOne support teams.
DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS (each duty and function listed indicates % of time to total 100%):
- Supplier Engagement and Onboarding:
- Guides, evaluates and onboards prospective Suppliers throughout entire engagement process who are qualified to be part of the Supplier base for AgileOne Clients standards. 20%
- Assists in the facilitation of the Subcontract development, administration, negotiation and completion processes, as required, requested and necessary. 15%
- Develops short and long-term Supplier management strategies which includes managing supplier activity in a manner that provides ethical and high service delivery levels with a focus on diverse suppliers. 10%
- Leads, customizes and conducts the Supplier engagement efforts for new Client implementations, as assigned. 10%
- Relationship Management and Performance Management:
- Responsible for administering, guiding, conducting, and performing duties related to Supplier Partnership processes, contract compliance and relationship building. 15%
- Works in concert with Operations and Client Services to develop and maintain a Supplier Performance Management process (e.g., service delivery, scorecards, supplier metrics etc.). 10%
- Provides consultative services and recommendations for improving performance in all matters regarding the Supplier Partnership and Engagement Team along with internal and external customers. 10%
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS (each function listed indicates % of time):
- Participates in the Supplier RFP/RFQ process as necessary 5%

- Experience working with process management, continuous improvement and change management.
- 5–7 years of experience in supplier/vendor management, procurement, or strategic sourcing.
- Proven experience managing supplier relationships and performance metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to establish positive and strong working relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Must possess the ability to identify solutions to complex situations and be flexible in responding to unexpected changes in customer needs.
- Superior communication, team building, leadership, training, facilitation, organization and negotiation skills.
JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Five to ten (5-10) years of experience in the staffing (or related) industry, including at least three (3) years of MSP or supplier management experience. Implementation and project management experience, as well as demonstrated ability to interpret contract terms and support the supplier management process.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) from a four-year college or university, plus 3-5 years + combined experience in staffing and/or VMS/supplier management arena; or, equivalent years of combined education and professional experience

LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION SKILLS REQUIRED (written & verbal):
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals. Ability to present information effectively and to respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
COMPUTER/SYSTEM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
Working knowledge of computers including Windows environments, email, and the internet. Proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project and Visio. Ability to quickly learn AgileOne proprietary technology.
